About the role#
As a Solution Architect Intern, you will lead the delivery of technical solutions from the initial requirement gathering phase through to final implementation. You will work directly with customers to understand their mission-critical directives and develop technical solutions that meet their specific business needs. This role focuses on applying AI to solve customer challenges, specifically guiding them in building solutions that involve agentic AI.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with customers to define their agentic AI use cases and assess application requirements.
- Design and implement agentic AI applications.
- Review customer environments to ensure they meet all necessary technical pre-requisites.
- Lead workshops to explain proposed solutions and share best practice approaches for agentic AI, including prompt engineering, chatbot development, and information retrieval.
- Apply technical expertise and IBM software to address customer needs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Background in LLM AI models, platforms, and conversational or agentic AI.
- Experience with software development.
- Skills in data science and traditional AI/ML modeling evaluation, such as classification and regression.
- Understanding of AI governance.
- Experience with solution architectures.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
