About the role#
As an Organizational Change Management Consultant Intern, you will join our consulting team to support digital transformation initiatives. You will work alongside experienced change leaders to help clients navigate business and technology shifts. This role is based in Toronto and runs for 4 months, starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in consulting projects and initiatives to help transform client businesses.
- Assist in creating Change Management and HR Strategy deliverables.
- Collaborate to deliver solutions for clients using AI tools and assets.
- Support the design and delivery of workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews.
- Develop communications tailored to specific audiences, including written and video assets.
- Help design and deliver training activities, including change impacts, assessments, and surveys.
- Use IBM Design Thinking to solve client challenges in an Agile environment.
- Learn about client industries and how their business and technology intersect.
- Join the IBM North America intern community for networking and career development events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time post-secondary program, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Commitment to return to full-time studies after the work term.
- Eligibility to work full-time in Canada for the 4-month duration.
- Familiarity with organizational change management fundamentals.
- Ability to derive recommendations from data using quantitative analysis skills.
- Experience with AI and collaboration technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply.
- Initiative to seek new knowledge and improve skills.
