About the role#
As a Corporate Responsibility Intern, you will work on a project focused on a strategic business challenge. This program offers leadership exposure and mentorship throughout the summer. You will participate in learning experiences and networking events. At the end of the program, you will present your final project outcomes to an audience of company leaders and practitioners.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate the annual corporate sustainability performance assessment process.
- Create strategic recommendations to improve the IBM SkillsBuild platform or marketing efforts for student users.
- Support Corporate Responsibility initiatives in the Americas, such as volunteering, giving, workforce development, education, and global impact.
What you'll need#
- You are currently enrolled in an accredited university and will be a rising senior for the 2027-2028 school year.
- You have basic knowledge of corporate social responsibility, including sustainability, volunteerism, education, or marketing.
- You possess basic market research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- You have prior experience in nonprofit work, corporate giving, or corporate volunteerism.
- You are fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You must have the ability to work without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The program runs from May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- The role is based in New York, New York.
- We operate in a hybrid environment, and you will be expected to work from the office at least three days per week.
