About the role#
iA Financial Group is hiring for a full-time Actuarial intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, on-site position. You will join one of our specialized teams to work on real projects that support our business decisions in insurance and financial services. We look for students who want to develop their professional skills through mentorship and collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Perform quantitative analyses and transform data into useful information for decision-making.
- Develop or enhance tools, models, and processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with professionals across actuarial science, finance, technology, and analytics.
- Contribute to projects that support organizational business decisions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an actuarial science program.
- Strong interest in quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
- Effective communication in French, both verbally and in writing.
- Intermediate level of English to consult documentation and communicate with internal partners.
- Proficiency in Excel is expected, while experience with Python, R, SQL, or Power BI is an asset.
