    About the role#

    The Finance Co-op role provides support across the Enterprise Shared Services functions. You will work within Credit and Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and Finance Transformation. This position offers exposure to various operational responsibilities and projects to provide a view of how these functions operate within the organization.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the Credit Department by gathering, organizing, and maintaining documentation for customer accounts.
    • Follow up with customers and internal teams to obtain credit applications, tax exemption certificates, and credit references.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies and support audits.
    • Assist with data transition from OBIEE to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI automation improvements.
    • Process invoices, issue payments, and perform reconciliation for Accounts Payable.
    • Create process maps, SOPs, and quick reference job aids.
    • Build a knowledge base for the AI-powered Accounts Payable Helpdesk Chatbot.
    • Convert vendors to digital payment systems and transition Symbeo vendors to Coupa.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Strong computer skills with a background in Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Working towards a CPA designation, experience with Power Apps, Power BI, or ERP systems like JDE and Oracle are considered assets.

    • Employment type: Full-time, paid position.
    • Term: 8-month rolling term.
