About the role#
The Commercial Bank Internship at Huntington National Bank offers students practical, hands-on experience within our commercial banking segments. You will gain exposure to business lines such as Middle Market Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Asset Finance. Interns partner with experienced professionals to contribute to projects while building knowledge of financial analysis, client relationship management, and strategic problem-solving. This is a full-time, paid summer program for 2027.

- Collaborate directly with your manager on business initiatives.
- Support department goals and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Participate in all internship events and professional development sessions.
- Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor at all times.
- Take initiative to achieve your personal career goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- At least one quarter or semester of school remaining after the summer program ends.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
