About the role#
Join Humana for a 12-week summer internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in healthcare technology. You will work within a technical team to contribute to projects that impact the health and well-being of millions. This program includes professional development sessions, executive-level presentations, and mentorship from experienced leaders.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technologists on initiatives including project management, agile development, software and cloud engineering, data science, and cybersecurity.
- Apply technical skills to solve real-world challenges across various domains.
- Work closely with team members and leaders to support business objectives.
- Participate in intern-led committees and engagement activities.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Expected graduation date between Winter 2028 and Summer 2029.
- Must have attended and participated in Humana’s Early ID Program in July 2026.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Completion of introductory to intermediate technical coursework.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site for the duration of the program.
- No requirement for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
