About the role#
This is a 10 to 12-week summer internship program based in Reading, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in manufacturing and testing processes. The role involves analyzing current workflows and developing solutions to improve productivity and quality on the production floor.
What you'll do#
- Analyze existing manufacturing workflows, procedures, and fixtures.
- Design and implement new test fixtures, tooling solutions, and manufacturing methods.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple overlapping projects independently.
- Present your project outcomes to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the program (May-August 2027).
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience using digital multimeters and assembling wire harnesses, including crimping and termination techniques.

- Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, depending on academic standing and expected graduation date.
