About the role#
This summer internship offers corporate experience within the operations and sourcing department at Hubbell Incorporated. You will work on projects that support our strategic sourcing initiatives, helping the team gather data and improve processes. At the end of the program, you will present your work to the local management team.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Develop and execute supplier Request for Information (RFI) processes.
- Gather supplier intelligence.
- Create category-specific tools to assist with future sourcing decisions.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
- Work in teams and independently with minimal supervision.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
