About the role#
This is a 10 to 12-week summer internship focused on continuous improvement initiatives at our Corona, California facility. You will support HMS Silver Certification efforts, including time studies and standard work development, while gaining exposure to our manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct video-based time and motion studies.
- Develop standard work playbooks.
- Help establish sustainable processes to create, document, and maintain future-state standard work.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Deliver a final presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university through August 2027.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
