About the role#
Vertiv is looking for a Logistics Intern to support the Transportation team with data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Americas region. This internship offers hands-on experience in transportation operations, logistics analytics, carrier management, and supply chain processes. You will work alongside Logistics, Procurement, Operations, and Master Data teams to improve data quality and transportation performance.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, and consolidate logistics data, including freight spend, carrier performance, and service metrics.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on process improvement and reporting.
- Monitor carrier performance regarding delivery, transit times, capacity, and transportation costs.
- Participate in projects focused on operational efficiency and process standardization.
- Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
- Present your findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented approach with a willingness to learn logistics and transportation operations.
- Coursework or project experience in data analysis, logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
- Familiarity with process mapping tools like Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart is preferred.
- Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
- English language proficiency is required, and Spanish language skills are a plus.

- This is an on-site internship based in Westerville, Ohio.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
