About the role#
This internship offers a 10 to 12 week program designed to provide corporate experience in manufacturing engineering. You will focus on evaluating loading trays and spindles used on PDV wrap machines. Your primary goal is to redesign these components to improve durability, increase part commonization, and lower replacement costs. You will also develop standard work for various processes to boost safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

- Assist with ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Build technical skills relevant to your major.
- Support co-workers and contribute to team objectives.
- Present your project findings to the local management team at the end of the program.
- Gain practical experience in planning and organizational workflows.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
