About the role#
Join the Financial Transactions and Policy team for a 12-week internship in Summer 2027. You will work in a hybrid environment based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role provides hands-on experience with corporate accounting and finance tools while building a professional foundation.
What you'll do#
- Lead an Assets and Liabilities project to analyze changes in account balances over time and explain fluctuations.
- Assist with financial analyses, SEC filings, 10Q tie outs, earnings press releases, and SOX controls documentation.
- Support monthly general ledger financial close and consolidation processes using accounting systems.
- Research internal policies and GAAP requirements.
- Coordinate with global finance contacts to validate account balances.
- Participate in information sessions with the Senior Leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s program in Accounting or Finance.
- Expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
- Demonstrated participation in internships, work, research, or extracurricular activities.
- Involvement in at least one extracurricular activity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

- Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour.
- Relocation: A $3,600 stipend is available for students residing 50+ miles from the work site.
