About the role#
This is a full-time position for the Fall 2026 term, open exclusively to current or previous HNTB interns. You will work on-site to assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications. This role involves performing research, development, and design delivery in partnership with project teams.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
- Provide organization and administrative support for design files.
- Support engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and project development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Preference is given to candidates with a Master's degree in Engineering or an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Jacksonville, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Ocoee, Orlando, or Ormond Beach, Florida.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
