About the role#
As an Electrical and Controls Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the analysis, documentation, and improvement of industrial electrical and control systems. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that impact equipment reliability, operational performance, and manufacturing efficiency. This role provides practical experience in industrial electrical engineering, automation, and technical documentation.
What you'll do#
- Develop and update industrial electrical network schematics.
- Perform detailed surveys of control panels and electrical equipment.
- Identify and document electrical and control components within industrial installations.
- Update and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with electrical and automation engineers to ensure the accuracy of technical documentation.
- Participate in troubleshooting and solving issues related to electrical and control systems.
- Contribute to the improvement and optimization of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Work with maintenance, production, and engineering teams on continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program for Electrical Engineering or Automated Production Engineering.
- Strong interest in industrial electrical systems, automation, and control technologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and HMI software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and a proactive approach to improvement.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Professionalism, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
