About the role#
The Summer 2027 Undergraduate IT Audit Internship offers hands-on experience in information technology audit, cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management. You will work within the Internal Audit team to evaluate controls that protect organizational assets and critical business systems. This program is designed to develop your professional skills through direct exposure to enterprise risk assessment, system implementations, and audit execution.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day audit activities and participate in IT assurance and advisory engagements.
- Assess technology and security risks while performing research and analysis.
- Document audit results and develop recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to protect organizational assets.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of projects and initiatives.
- Adhere to data privacy, information security, and HIPAA requirements.
What you'll need#
- Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
Location & details#
- This is a remote internship for Summer 2027.
- This is a part-time position.
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S. independently, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
