About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on Governance, Risk, and Compliance. You will join a formal program designed to build your business and industry knowledge through hands-on projects. You will work with mentors and leaders while gaining exposure to enterprise-level initiatives. The program includes professional development workshops, networking opportunities, and volunteer activities.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to project work and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and technical areas.
- Analyze data and research to develop recommendations for real business decisions.
- Own specific project components and deliverables with guidance from your manager.
- Apply organizational processes, programs, and technologies to member-focused solutions.
- Support departmental initiatives to improve business outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all company policies, including HIPAA and Corporate Integrity.
- Develop and deliver a final presentation to department leadership regarding your project results.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree or higher in business administration, healthcare, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Availability for the full 10-week duration of the program.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Practical skills in Excel, Word, and Access.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness and a desire to learn about the health care industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and interest in retail market impacts are considered pluses.

- Locations: Chicago, Illinois and Richardson, Texas.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (expected in-office at least three days per week).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $19.13 - $34.17 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
