About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based at our corporate headquarters in Holland, Michigan. You will join a cohort of interns for a 12-week program designed to provide hands-on experience in a business and manufacturing environment. The program includes workshops on professional skills, opportunities to connect with mentors, and attendance at NeoCon to observe industry trends.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various projects related to client and event management.
- Participate in the planning and hosting of visitor experiences.
- Spend time at the corporate reception desk to learn front-office operations.
- Research and explore potential excursion activities for future client hosting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for HRI, TTM, or Hospitality Management.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI, from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with personal computers, keyboarding, and spreadsheet applications.
- A desire to research solutions and ask questions.
Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 2.95 or higher, prior experience with Haworth, previous employment or extra-curricular involvement, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience with event planning or setup is also valued.
