About the role#
Hatch is seeking an Advisory Analyst to join our management consulting practice for a Summer 2027 internship. You will work on projects within the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to help our clients make informed business decisions. You will work in an on-site office environment and participate in team-based consulting engagements.
What you'll do#
- Develop and assist in the preparation of cost models, financial models, and business cases.
- Evaluate information from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
- Collate and summarize data from document analysis, workshops, and surveys.
- Prepare scenarios to support analysts and consultants.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between project objectives and business performance.
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering, Science, Business, Commerce, or Economics program.
- At least two years of university studies completed.
- Excellent academic standing.
- A good understanding of engineering or business fundamentals.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and research skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
