About the role#
H2M architects + engineers is seeking an Information Technology Student Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides students with practical experience in a professional IT environment. You will work alongside experienced staff to support firm operations and participate in professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Assist the IT team with desktop, network, and software functions.
- Handle general administrative and routine IT tasks.
- Visit project sites and attend client meetings.
- Participate in workshops covering resume writing, interview skills, and presentation techniques.
- Deliver a final presentation summarizing your project results, goal achievements, and learning outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a sophomore or higher in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program for Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of PC software and systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A desire to learn and contribute to the team.

- Location: Melville, New York.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person internship.
- Compensation: $19.25 to $27.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time hours, running from June 7th through August 13th.
