About the role#
H2M architects + engineers is seeking a student intern for our Landscape Architecture Department. This program provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects. You will gain hands-on experience in the field and office while building professional relationships with your team.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with construction drawings and specifications.
- Perform computer drafting using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Gather and compile project data.
- Participate in professional development workshops.
- Deliver a final presentation covering your project results and learning outcomes.
- Complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a sophomore or higher in an accredited Landscape Architecture program.
- Active status in a bachelor or master degree program.
- Strong computer skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- A genuine eagerness to learn.

- Location: Melville, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7th to August 13th).
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person position.
- Compensation: $19.25 to $27.00 per hour.
- Status: This position is paid and full-time.
