About the role#
H2M architects + engineers is seeking an Accounting/Finance student intern to join our team in Melville, New York. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals in our Accounting/Finance Department. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to real projects and building connections with managers and fellow interns.
What you'll do#
- Provide general administrative and office support within the accounting department.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and research projects.
- Manage the distribution of information across departments.
- Participate in professional development workshops covering topics like resume writing and interview skills.
- Present your project results and learnings to fellow interns, managers, and the leadership team.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited institution.
- Standing as a sophomore or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Location: Melville, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7th through August 13th).
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person internship.
- Compensation: $19.25 to $27.00 per hour.
