About the role#
The Retirement Services Intern will assist our retirement line of business with initiatives related to market research, servicing, recordkeeping, and administration. This internship provides both educational and practical experience, allowing you to apply your college coursework in a professional setting. You will gain insight into the role of retirement plans within financial services and have the opportunity to interact with leaders and employees across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Review and evaluate educational strategies and tools used by competitors.
- Conduct research on retirement initiatives and new business opportunities.
- Update CRM data and assist with product development projects, reports, and analytics.
- Participate in client-facing meetings and support daily workflows in various operational areas.
- Learn about retirement benefits processes, including survivor benefits.
- Gain exposure to retirement line of business functions, such as Retirement Solutions, Services and Operations, and Technology Support Teams.
- Participate in and present on a corporate intern project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an incoming Junior or Senior, and you must remain a student for the duration of the program.
- Degree concentration in finance, management, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Integrity and the initiative to work as a self-starter.
