About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship program based in New York. You will join the Corporate Finance & Risk team to gain experience in investment risk management. The program offers exposure to daily business operations, project work, and interaction with senior leaders. Successful completion of the internship may provide the opportunity to be considered for the Finance Leadership Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze investment portfolio exposures and risk metrics.
- Support portfolio monitoring, risk reporting, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Conduct research on financial markets, emerging risks, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
- Learn about the company purpose, values, and product offerings.
- Build a professional network and collaborate with team members and mentors.
- Think broadly and ask questions about data and facts.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Coursework or interest in finance, investments, economics, accounting, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
- Interest in exploring multiple areas of finance and risk.
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Python, data analytics, or Gen AI tools.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
