About the role#
As a Community Assistant, you support the property management team in meeting occupancy and retention goals. You handle the daily administrative and sales tasks required to keep the community running. This role involves direct interaction with residents and prospective tenants, requiring a balance of office work and on-site property management.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative office tasks, including filing, copying, and organizing lease paperwork.
- Assist with sales by conducting virtual and in-person property tours and responding to inquiries.
- Coordinate resident programs, events, and community outreach efforts.
- Distribute flyers, newsletters, and notices to residents.
- Manage resident move-in and move-out processes.
- Respond to resident questions and resolve concerns.
- Serve as an after-hours liaison and participate in on-call shifts.
What you'll need#
- A commitment to working mandatory move-in and move-out events.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work both inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and crawl in confined spaces.
- Capacity to lift, carry, or maneuver up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration.
