About the role#
The Process Engineer Co-op works on projects to improve process efficiency and productivity. You will work alongside Production Superintendents, the Quality Manager, and other Process Engineers to support facility operations.
What you'll do#
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and optimization.
- Design and execute chemical trials to increase product quality and output.
- Assist with equipment start-up and optimization tasks.
- Perform statistical analysis on finished product properties.
- Partner with subject matter experts to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with customers regarding quality issues or special project trials.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university program pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Paper Science.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.

- This is a full-time, on-site, and paid position.
