About the role#
As a Patient Champion, you will conduct structured, phone-based interactions with patients on behalf of healthcare organizations. This role allows you to apply your pharmacy education to real-world patient care while working remotely. You will manage your own schedule, provided you meet the weekly hour requirement, and work independently from a private, quiet space. All interactions are conducted via phone, and you will receive support from a clinical leadership team during your shifts.
What you'll do#
- Complete at least 6 hours of patient outreach every week.
- Conduct wellness check-ins and structured patient assessments.
- Discuss medication adherence, preventive care, and chronic disease management with patients.
- Practice clear, patient-centered communication.
- Document all interaction outcomes accurately within the company platform.
- Escalate clinical questions and patient safety concerns to a licensed supervisor in real time.
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Attend onboarding training and regular team check-ins.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited PharmD program at a U.S. university.
- U.S. citizenship and current residency in the U.S.
- A strong interest in patient care and improving the patient experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills or a desire to develop them.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Access to a compatible computer and a cell phone with SMS capabilities.
- A quiet, private workspace that is free of distractions and background noise.
- A video submission of two minutes or less explaining why you are a good fit for this role.

- This is a remote, part-time, paid position.
- The role is open to students on a rolling basis.
- You must be based in the United States.
