About the role#
We are looking for students to join our Economics team for a full-time summer internship. You will work on projects that involve large data sets, performance trends, and model documentation. This role offers exposure to industrial initiatives and the chance to contribute to business strategy.
What you'll do#
- Perform data analysis and assist in tracking key metrics.
- Develop and maintain databases to support team operations.
- Assist the Economics team with modeling efforts and data-driven model maintenance.
- Quantify how economic, legal, and industry factors impact portfolio performance and asset values.
- Summarize findings and deliver presentations to internal clients and business leadership.
- Apply econometrics to interpret market data and test strategies.
- Conduct research projects and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Assist in preparing for residual value meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics.
- At least one semester remaining in your program upon the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, including evaluating outputs for accuracy, bias, and compliance.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection.
