About the role#
This internship supports programs focused on maternal, child, and adolescent health. Interns will gain exposure to leadership development, organizational development, and community health programming. You will work on projects involving coalitions and collaborative concepts under the guidance of a mentor. This position requires a minimum commitment of 10 weeks, from September 14 to November 20, 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
What you'll do#
- Conduct literature reviews and research.
- Create and update course-related materials.
- Compile and analyze research and evaluation data.
- Provide logistical support for grant programs, reporting, training, and technical assistance, including webinar coordination.
- Write reports and maintain project records, files, and logs.
- Organize meetings and arrange logistical needs such as handouts and speaker coordination.
- Communicate with external contacts to resolve routine inquiries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate. Preference is given to students pursuing an MPH, MBA, or MHA.
- Prior experience in public or global health.
- Strong research skills for literature reviews.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Asana or Excel.
- Ability to complete the assigned project.
Location & details#
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: Remote (based in the United States).
- Commitment: 20 hours per week. Mandatory attendance is required on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET, along with five orientation days during the same hours.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
- Academic focus: Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Communications.
