About the role#
We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Digital Fundraising Intern to support the growth of our digital giving strategies. This role focuses on shaping the online donor experience, expanding our audience reach, and building donor engagement through content and campaigns. The internship requires a commitment of 20 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks, from September 14 to November 20, 2026. Mandatory meeting times include five orientation days and every Thursday from 10am to 2pm ET.
What you'll do#
- Make fundraising-related updates to the website to ensure clear calls to action and donor accessibility.
- Create videos and digital content to promote giving opportunities and donor impact.
- Develop and implement segmented email marketing campaigns.
- Update, A/B test, and optimize the branded donation page for better performance.
- Design peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising campaigns to engage supporters as ambassadors.
- Support the planning and execution of virtual fundraising events.
- Expand and promote recurring giving options across digital platforms.
- Create and manage crowdfunding campaigns for specific initiatives.
- Design and schedule fundraising-focused social media posts.
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements based on data.
What you'll need#
- Status as an undergraduate student, graduate-level student, or recent graduate.
- Passion for global health, nonprofit development, and social impact.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with content creation tools such as Canva.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Constant Contact or GiveButter.
- Basic knowledge of website editing, preferably with WordPress.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with attention to detail.
- Comfort with data analysis and A/B testing, or a willingness to learn.
- Video editing or graphic design experience is considered a plus.
