About the role#
Gilead Sciences is offering a full-time internship for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides an opportunity to contribute to projects within Medical Affairs, USMA PAQ. Interns gain experience through hands-on work, professional development sessions, and leadership presentations. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Participate in cross-functional launch planning activities for pipeline and recently launched therapies.
- Evaluate trends in healthcare policy, reimbursement, and payer landscapes to support market access strategy.
- Support the development of evidence-based resources and strategic recommendations for healthcare decision makers.
- Partner with colleagues in Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation of your work at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PharmD or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. college or university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
