About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to the Development organization at Gilead Sciences. You will work on projects that improve performance and efficiency while gaining experience in a biotechnology research environment. This role is a full-time, 10-12 week commitment during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a creative voice within the Development organization to identify efficiency improvements.
- Develop content and plans for the 2027 Gilead Case Competition.
- Drive business strategy projects that simplify Development pain points.
- Create and refine project communications, including updates and FAQs.
- Develop change management artifacts like presentations and newsletters.
- Enhance tracking solutions and dashboards to support change management.
- Use business acumen and analytical skills to conceptualize new initiatives.
- Present your work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a graduate or doctoral student in Business Administration or Data Science.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 consecutive weeks.
- Independent work authorization in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and in teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Experience in devising and implementing business strategies.
