About the role#
This internship with the Corporate Development Transactions team offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects at a global biopharmaceutical company. You will gain experience in the transaction lifecycle while participating in professional development, leadership presentations, and community volunteer programs.
What you'll do#
- Drive the process and execution for potential transaction opportunities, from initial sourcing through to final execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather necessary inputs and align on transaction structures and terms.
- Work alongside business development and legal teams to prepare and negotiate proposals, term sheets, and contracts.
- Present your work during a final presentation at the conclusion of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. college or university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10 to 12-week internship between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Prior experience related to business development transactions is preferred.
- MBA degree level is preferred.
