    About the role#

    General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team in Scottsdale. You will apply your classroom knowledge to programs that support national defense. This position involves working on technical projects alongside experienced colleagues to create solutions for national security missions.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply engineering skills to support defense programs.
    • Collaborate with teams on technical projects related to our core mission.
    • Develop solutions for high-stakes national security work.
    • Work with a group of technically accomplished colleagues.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Electrical, Computer, Systems, Software, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
    • Preference for students with sophomore standing or higher.
    • U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
    • A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site position based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
    • The role is full-time and paid.
    • We are hiring on a rolling basis.
