About the role#
GE Vernova is seeking a Sourcing Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship is designed for college students to build experience in supply chain, procurement, and business analytics. You will work alongside sourcing professionals to learn how data, supplier relationships, and operational execution support our energy projects.
What you'll do#
- Support sourcing projects focused on supplier management, data analysis, and process improvement.
- Assist with supplier research, spend analysis, purchase order reviews, and savings tracking.
- Utilize sourcing tools and dashboards to help teams make informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with partners across Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Legal teams.
- Prepare presentations, project trackers, and summaries for leadership reviews.
- Identify opportunities to simplify work, improve data quality, and strengthen process discipline.
- Participate in team meetings, intern learning experiences, and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated academic achievement and an interest in sourcing or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a team environment, communicate clearly, and follow through on commitments.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

- This is an on-site role based in Atlanta, Georgia, or Greenville, South Carolina.
- This position is full-time for the Summer 2027 term.
