About the role#
The Engineering Co-op position is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in LaFayette, Georgia. This role provides hands-on experience through technical projects while you partner with a mentor to establish goals and deliverables.
What you'll do#
- Work with a mentor to complete goals that support the business.
- Handle technical assignments in areas like new product introduction, product improvement, modeling and simulation, advanced development, sourced products, and software development.
- Attend training sessions to grow your technical knowledge.
- Participate in networking and community volunteer projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Ability to complete two or more co-op rotations before graduation.
- Related coursework, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
