About the role#
This summer internship offers Civil Engineering students the chance to work alongside industry experts in Lenexa, Kansas. You will gain hands-on experience and participate in rotational opportunities to help you identify your career path within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on various projects.
- Learn to use engineering software including Civil3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
- Work directly with professionals to solve technical problems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a BS or MS program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
- A GPA of 2.7 or higher is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Excel is preferred.
- Involvement in campus organizations, community groups, or volunteer activities.
- Prior internship or related experience is considered a plus.
