About the role#
This internship offers real-world experience on projects within the Power sector. You will work on environmental compliance, natural resources, and permitting or planning tasks for water, transportation, and power infrastructure projects across Washington State and the Pacific Northwest. You will also connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Assist with environmental compliance and permitting projects.
- Support natural resources and planning initiatives.
- Participate in company mentoring and professional development programs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for environmental science, biology, environmental engineering, or a related field.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to local candidates.
- Preferred: At least 2 years of coursework completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to the industry.
