About the role#
As a Transportation Intern, you will work within our Transportation Business Group to help shape systems that move people and goods. You will gain experience on infrastructure projects and work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. This position offers opportunities to connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Gain real-world experience on various engineering projects.
- Perform assignments under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Participate in mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Handle other duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, specifically Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of software packages related to your field of study.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to local candidates and those who have completed at least two years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
