About the role#
FTI Consulting is offering a summer internship program for the Economic Consulting segment. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience and serves as a pathway for potential entry-level consultant positions. Interns will work on project teams to address client needs while gaining exposure to various practice areas.
What you'll do#
- Join a project team and collaborate directly with professionals and senior leaders.
- Support client engagements by meeting specific project objectives.
- Participate in on-the-job learning and professional development initiatives.
- Receive mentorship and guidance from a dedicated coach throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor’s degree or a fifth-year master’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week from late May 2027 through August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis (visa sponsorship is not provided).
- Ability to travel to client sites and FTI Consulting offices.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.

- Program Term: Summer 2027 (late May 2027 - August 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Locations: Washington, DC; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; McLean, VA.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with a pay range of $29 to $33 per hour.
