About the role#
FTI Consulting is offering a summer internship program for students interested in Economic Consulting. This program runs from late May 2027 through August 2027 and serves as a pathway to potential entry-level consultant positions. You will work on-site as part of a team to address client needs.
What you'll do#
- Join a project team and work directly with professionals and senior leaders.
- Collaborate with your team to meet specific client requirements.
- Participate in on-the-job learning and professional development activities.
- Receive mentorship and guidance from a dedicated coach assigned to you.
- Explore the Economic Consulting segment and its various practice areas.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a fifth-year master’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer 2027 program.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as this role does not provide visa sponsorship.
- Ability to travel to client sites and FTI Consulting offices.
- Preferred majors include Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation ranges from $29 to $33 per hour, depending on experience, location, and skills.
- Locations include Washington, DC; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; and McLean, VA.
