About the role#
FTI Consulting is offering a summer 2027 internship program within its Economic Consulting segment. This program serves as a pathway to potential entry-level consultant positions. Interns will participate in a structured experience that includes mentorship, professional development, and on-the-job learning. The internship is a full-time, paid position requiring 40 hours of work per week from late May 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Join a project team to work directly with professionals and senior leaders.
- Collaborate with team members to meet client needs.
- Participate in professional development programs and self-guided courses.
- Receive guidance and support from a dedicated coach throughout the internship.
- Explore specific practice areas within the Economic Consulting segment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a full-time bachelor’s degree or a fifth-year master’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the program dates.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to travel to client sites and FTI Consulting offices.
- Preferred majors include Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.

- Locations: Washington, DC; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; and McLean, VA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $29 to $33 per hour, determined by factors such as location, skills, and experience.
