About the role#
FTI Consulting is hiring for the Summer 2027 Strategic Communications internship program. This role runs from late May 2027 through August 2027. The program acts as a pathway to potential full-time consultant positions. You will work alongside leaders in the field and join a focused team to solve complex client challenges.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams on projects and client issues.
- Engage in professional development programs, including on-the-job learning and self-guided courses.
- Receive mentorship from a dedicated coach throughout the summer.
- Contribute to team goals and gain practical experience in your chosen business segment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor’s degree or a fifth-year master’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program.
- Ability to travel to client sites and FTI Consulting offices.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Economics, Graphic Design, History, International Relations, Journalism, Marketing, and Public Health.
Location & details#
- The position is on-site in New York, NY, Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC.
- This is a paid internship with a compensation range of $22 to $28 per hour, depending on experience, location, and skills.
