About the role#
The Single-Family division is seeking students for a Summer 2027 internship. You will gain hands-on experience supporting data analytics, reporting, and business processes. This role focuses on applying technical skills to support risk management and operational effectiveness. You will work with mentorship and training to build your professional toolkit.
What you'll do#
- Assist product owners and business partners with gathering requirements and clarifying project scope.
- Support day-to-day operations through data analysis, impact analysis, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with teammates, IT partners, and stakeholders to resolve issues and test solutions.
- Help prepare monthly business process reporting and executive metrics while monitoring data quality.
- Apply classroom knowledge of statistical analysis and programming tools to generate business insights.
- Explore how AI-enabled tools can improve analytical processes and productivity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Coursework or projects involving statistical analysis, quantitative modeling, or data-driven problem solving.
- Exposure to AI tools or Microsoft AI-enabled productivity solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain analytical findings clearly.
