    About the role#

    As a Quantitative Risk Management Intern within Enterprise Risk Management, you will apply technical and analytical skills to support risk management at a large financial institution. You will gain hands-on experience by working on projects that support the assessment of market, credit, operational, and emerging risks. This role involves collaborating across teams to solve complex problems and using emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and automation to improve risk practices.

    What you'll do#

    • Execute quantitative and analytical projects while meeting deadlines and managing project scope.
    • Develop, evaluate, and use quantitative models and analytical tools to support risk assessment.
    • Collaborate with risk, business, and technology teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, assess risk exposure, and support strategic initiatives.
    • Support model development, validation, monitoring, and evaluation activities across various risk disciplines.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a full-time graduate degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
    • Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
    • One to three years of professional work experience.
    • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, SQL, or similar languages.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and modern data technologies.
