About the role#
The Single-Family division at Freddie Mac is looking for students to join as Business Interns for the summer of 2027. You will learn about the mortgage business while building skills in business analysis, data analytics, and process improvement. You will work with teams that support mortgage loan acquisition, securitization, and servicing processes.
What you'll do#
- Support Single-Family teams through data analytics, product development, and process improvement.
- Document business processes.
- Help develop business requirements.
- Perform research and analytics.
- Identify areas for process improvement.
- Create and present business insights using Microsoft Office and AI-assisted tools.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Business Statistics, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical ability and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and curious approach to work.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028 is preferred.
- Exposure to AI tools, automation, or product development is a plus.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).

- Status: Full-time, paid internship at $32 per hour.
