About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work as a member of the engagement team. You will gain experience by working with clients ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies. This role provides hands-on practice in the audit field while you receive ongoing coaching and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with seniors and managers on client engagements.
- Perform planning procedures, balance sheet testing, and income statement testing.
- Assist with audit reporting and special projects.
- Communicate with clients and team members to keep engagements on track.
- Travel to client locations for on-site work.
- Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Participate in firm culture, networking events, and activities.
- Work with a performance manager to set career goals.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field.
- Interest in public accounting.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Strong communication skills.
