About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work as a member of the engagement team. You will gain experience across a range of clients, from emerging businesses to large companies. This internship focuses on building foundational skills in public accounting through direct collaboration with seniors and managers.
What you'll do#
- Work with seniors and managers on planning procedures, balance sheet and income statement testing, and audit reporting.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to track engagement progress.
- Travel to client locations for on-site work.
- Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Set career goals with a performance manager and receive ongoing coaching.
- Participate in networking events and firm activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
- An interest in a career in public accounting.
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

- Location: Huntsville, Alabama.
- Term: Summer 2028.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- This is a paid internship position.
