About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will join our tax consulting practice to support teams in delivering tax services. You will learn our methodologies, participate in projects, and perform tasks that contribute to client success. This role provides exposure to global tax complexities and allows you to observe professional work environments while developing your skills.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze tax regulations to optimize positions and minimize risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Use data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance strategies.
- Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- You must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.
