About the role#
As a Tax JD Intern, you will work with tax professionals to gain experience in corporate tax consulting. You will support teams on various assignments, learn about tax compliance, and contribute to projects that help clients manage tax strategies. This internship focuses on professional development, observing daily operations, and building a foundation for your career.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and review consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
- Assist in corporate tax planning and consulting projects.
- Analyze corporate transactions and post-deal integration processes.
- Research tax regulations and industry-specific tax challenges.
- Collaborate on tax modeling and finance integration.
- Support the preparation of purchase and sale agreements.
- Engage in tax compliance activities.
- Learn from experienced professionals and incorporate feedback into your work.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA, with a preference for 3.5.
- Ability to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your state of employment before starting full-time.
- Status as a third-year student in a four-year program or fourth-year student in a five-year program.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn.

- Compensation: $29.25 to $48.00 per hour.
