About the role#
This position is open to current Franklin Pierce University students only. You will work on campus grounds to keep the university facilities in good condition. This is a part-time role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Operate power and hand tools, such as lawn mowers and hedge trimmers.
- Assist with general landscaping tasks.
- Help with seasonal clean-up efforts for fall, winter, and spring.
- Support full-time staff with event and conference set-ups.
- Work some weekends, holidays, and mandatory days.
- Receive and act on constructive feedback professionally.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver's license and the ability to get certified to drive university vehicles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication skills in English, including the ability to read signs and follow oral instructions.
- Commitment to punctuality, regular attendance, and professional conduct.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Strict adherence to university safety protocols and policies.
