About the role#
Franklin Pierce University is hiring a Graduate Assistant for the Admissions office for the 2026-2027 academic year. You will act as a Student Ambassador, representing the university to prospective students and their families. This role involves direct interaction with visitors, event coordination, and administrative support for recruitment programs.
What you'll do#
- Lead campus tours for individuals and groups.
- Meet with prospective students and families to share information about university programs.
- Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and training of overnight student hosts.
- Assist with training new student employees.
- Help plan and run recruitment events, such as the Overnight Program, Accepted Student events, and Tour and Tailgates.
- Create content for events to showcase campus life.
- Design and analyze surveys to measure the effectiveness of campus programs.
- Report survey findings to administrators.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
- Official acceptance into a graduate studies program at Franklin Pierce University.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Experience working with databases.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
Location & details#
- Location: Rindge, New Hampshire.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday with some weekend availability required.
- Status: This is a paid, part-time position.
